From 18th to 25th May 2025, thirty-six students of classes 5A and 5B had the exciting first-time opportunity to spend a week in Malta as part of the annual Language Week programme. The goal was to improve their English skills while discovering the unique culture, history and beauty of the island.

From Monday to Friday morning, students attended classes at AM Language School in Sliema where they practiced their English skills with experienced native teachers. The lessons were both interactive and fun and helped students to grow more confident in using the language.

Afternoons were filled with varied activities and excursions. Students explored the historic capital city of Valletta, visited the medieval city of Mdina, and spent a full day discovering the natural beauty of Gozo, Malta’s sister island. There was also time to relax with beach afternoons or enjoy friendly competition at a local bowling centre.

The trip combined education and adventure and left everyone with lasting memories and improved language skills. A big thank you to the teachers at AM Language School, guides and host families who made this unforgettable experience possible!

Finally and most important, a big thank you to all our great students, too, who made the trip also very pleasant for us, the Austrian teachers accompanying them.
